Cyber Security

From as far back as he can recall, Chad Nelley has been involved, in some way, shape or form in Cyber security—if not directly, then indirectly. His interest in cyber security was initially spawned during his work on the Y2K project at a major medical network provider in San Diego. In 1999, Mr. Nelley left the corporate world to help build a start-up content provider for Microsoft, Apple, Adobe and then Macromedia—as the head of Operations & IT where he was charged with building and maintaining an e-commerce platform, data structure and network infrastructure to securely deliver content and provide 24/7/365 network operations for the start-up. In 2006 Mr. Nelley ventured out on his own and formalized Nelley Consulting. In 2007, Mr. Nelley was hired on full-time with ESET LLC., in a strategic global project management role. In 2014, Mr. Nelley was appointed to EVP, Operations for ESET North America and has general oversight of NA Business Systems, Infrastructure IT, Research, Facility & R/E Operations, Manufacturing and Fulfillment.
