President Whitehurst called the meeting to order at 7:35 a.m. and also provided the invocation . Mel led us in the salute to our flag and quickly realized that the military includes women as well as men.
Jonathan Stone made a plea for donations and participation in our annual golf fundraiser to be held on October 19. It was announced that we plan to digitalize our website to include our charter members and all of our visitor’s flags that we have collected over the years. This definitely would add a colorful sight to our site! Aunt Maggie’s cookies went for $20 and Maureen Eberle was the high bidder for 2 tickets to Humphreys on 9/29. She paid $150 (value $124) Way to go Maureen!
