Announcements
Ø We won the chili cook off! $250 prize won by Bill Poirier and his wife.

Ø Lou Scanlon took a few moments to tell us about his experience with the onset of the fire and the police response. He also gave us a little insight into the workings and coordination needed for an endeavor like this. Lou suggests that we always have an emergency kit ready with at least 72 hours worth of supplies (i.e. Medications).
Ø Tom Sayer gave us an update on how he and his family are coping. Should anyone wish to lend a hand, please coordinate with Frank De Francesco. Tom will be keeping in touch with him.
Ø Ron Erbetta reminds all about the Foundation Dinner this Saturday.

Ø Duane Horning brought rotary t-shirts for all Rotarians that have signed up as volunteers.

Carol Jensen very quickly introduced Gail Levin, Community Coordinator for Monarch Schools. Gail was presented with a $1000 check from our club and said a brief word about her program, but graciously postponed the bulk of her speech.
