CLOSED: Marine Corps Recruit Depot
Ø Visit includes a briefing on “The making of a Marine,” tour of the base by van, and viewing of recruit training.
Ø 7:30 (sharp)- 8:45. Enter at Gate 2 off Barnett. Ask sentry to point out Commanding General’s Bldg. 31 and parking lot adjacent to Parade Ground. Walk in to 1st floor Conference Room (#105).
Ø Sign-up needed by 3/28.

Ø Tour SDPD Headquarters and learn various aspects and complexities of our large city police force - “Serving and Protecting.”

Ø See first hand, how all of the air traffic in southern California is controlled by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Ø 7:15-9:00. 9175 Kearny Villa Road (Take I-15 north to Miramar Way - over the freeway - right on Kearny Villa Road).

CLOSED:Zoological Society
Ø Behind the scene walking tour to several unique exhibits, including “endangered species.”
Ø 7:15-8:45. Balboa Park, parking in zoo lot off Park Blvd; come to Warner Administration Bldg. at right of main entrance. No entry charge.
