The San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Club was chartered on October 9, 1990 with help from a small group of Rotarians from the San Diego and Old Mission Rotary Clubs.  We have around 100 members in all age groups.  We represent a wide variety of professions and most, but not all of us, live or work in the downtown area.

Our Club actively supports a multitude of private and public community organizations as well as health and social causes in metropolitan San Diego and throughout the world.

We meet every Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. in what many think is one of the most beautiful settings for any Rotary club: the University Club Atop Symphony Towers. The location provides a panoramic view of downtown San Diego, the San Diego Bay, the Coronado Bridge, the Pacific Ocean, Point Loma, and surrounding mountains. The view is unparalleled and provides a different backdrop for every meeting. Guests and visiting Rotarians consistently note that the upbeat tone of the club meetings, with good-natured teasing and laughter, make visiting the San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Club a most enjoyable experience.

We are committed to the ideals of Rotary, and believe that enjoying the weekly meetings is just one small aspect of the overall Rotary experience. An open invitation is extended to other Rotarians and guests interested in visiting the Club during one of the Wednesday meetings. The University Club Atop Symphony Towers is located at 750 "B" Street in the heart of downtown San Diego.
