The Downtown San Diego Rotary Club has been honored to provide $15,000 in donations in support of the Power of Love Foundation's computer lab in Zambia. This lab is a critical component of Power of Love’s microfinance initiative, which equips first-time women entrepreneurs with the business training, capital, and tools needed to launch profitable enterprises, accumulate assets, and generate local employment.
Beyond supporting microloan recipients:
• Digital Skills Training: Enrolled women learn essential computer skills to manage and grow their businesses.
• Youth Education: The lab provides digital literacy and educational support to local youth, including children in the "Safe Park" program.
