And so a new Rotary year begins: a new theme, a time to reflect on our club's achievements, maintain our successful programs and projects, and embrace new ideas. In 2017-18, we’ll answer the question “What is Rotary?” with RI President Ian Riseley’s theme, Rotary: Making a Difference. “Whether we’re building a new playground or a new school, improving medical care or sanitation, training conflict mediators or midwives, we know that the work we do will change people’s lives — in ways large and small — for the better.”
The San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Club is honored to be the "Home Club" for this year's District Governor, Scott Carr (District 5340). Governor Scott gave an eloquent and inspiring talk at our club meeting last week, encouraging all of us to find our own Rotary "Why," and reminding us that making changes within will help make changes for others.
Congratulations to President Bobbi Spinner-Flack and the 2017-2018 Board.
